International cooperation in combating corruption

The event was held today in Moscow upon the initiative of Russian Prosecutor General Aleksandr Gutsan. Its topic was the use of modern digital technologies in combating corruption.
The foreign delegation was led by Raed Fadhil-Dhmosh Al-Rufaye, Director General of the Investigation Department of the Federal Commission of Integrity of the Republic of Iraq. The Russian side was represented by Viktor Baldin, Head of the Department for Supervision of Compliance with Anti-Corruption Legislation. Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Russian Federation and the Iraqi Anti-Corruption Academy also took part in the event.
In addition to the above topic, the parties also discussed the continued implementation of the Cooperation Program between the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia and the Federal Commission of Integrity of the Republic of Iraq for 2024-2025 and the results of its activities.
The parties explored the possibility of joint participation and the development of common positions on international anti-corruption platforms. An agreement was reached to continue effective collaboration within the framework of state-to-state cooperation.
