At the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of the Republic of Serbia are to extradite Dmitriy Svyatkovskiy.

He was found guilty of attempted fraud in obtaining payments and using a knowingly forged document.

The court established that, in 2016-2017, Svyatkovskiy purchased a fake diploma in Dentistry via the Internet, which he used when trying to find a job at the Syamzha Central District Hospital in order to illegally obtain a million rubles as a subsidy.

However, employees of the medical institution accused the subject of providing a knowingly forged document, and his illegal actions were suppressed.

Since the criminal absconded from the court and law enforcement authorities, he was put on the international wanted list.

In October 2022, due to the fact that he was located on the territory of Serbia, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation sent a request for extradition to the foreign colleagues.

Thanks to the coordinated actions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and organized close interaction with the competent authorities of Serbia, extradition of the convicted person has been granted.
