An interactive stand of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation started its work on the sidelines of the XIV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2023” in Kazan today. It is an off-site model of interaction of the relevant divisions of the supervisory authority with the business community. For the first hours of the work, it has been visited by more than 50 participants of the event from different countries.
Participants of the forum can get answers to the questions they have concerning the law enforcement practice, as well as leave official applications, including in electronic form.
In the environment of unfavorable foreign political and economic factors, caused by the Western countries’ sanction aggression, the supervisory authority, as directed by the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, ensures equal protection of the domestic business and foreign companies continuing their activities and fulfillment of their obligations in good faith in the territory of our country.
Under the instruction of Igor Krasnov, prosecutors at the local level build a direct dialogue with the business community, implementing the principles of transparency and openness in the activity on protection of the rights of entrepreneurs. For this purpose, various forms of feedback are used, including regular personal receptions of business representatives by the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov and the heads of the prosecution authorities of all of the regions of the country, as well as “Hotline for Entrepreneurs” on the Single portal of the prosecution service, and a mobile app.
The XIV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2023” provides another opportunity to exchange opinions with entrepreneurs on the status of legality in this sphere, hear about problems hampering the business, and quickly organize consideration of particular applications. Such interaction is conductive to a productive dialogue with businessmen.
A delegation of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation headed by Pyotr Gorodov, deputy head of the supervisory authority, takes part in events of the forum.
Today, within the framework of the forum, meetings of Russian prosecutors with delegations of the Prosecutor General’s Offices of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan took place. The parties discussed questions of extension and enhancement of cooperation in the law enforcement sphere, including within the framework of implementation of the agreements reached by Igor Krasnov with the foreign colleagues before.
Special attention in the negotiations was given to the questions of international criminal prosecution for committing transnational crimes, ensuring security of citizens, observance of their rights and freedoms, as well as development of cooperation in the sphere of training and enhancing the qualifications of prosecutors.
The delegation of Tajikistan was proposed signing a memorandum on cooperation between the agencies’ educational organizations and was given its draft. Questions of cooperation in the anticorruption and environmental spheres were discussed in detail with Elmar Jamalov, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The participants of the international meetings noted the commonality of approaches in fulfillment of the prosecution authorities’ tasks.
