The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation by the request of the Kyrgyz party has extradited Ms. Zamira AKHMATZHANOVA with the purpose of her criminal prosecution. She was convicted of fraud by the Osh City Court of the Kyrgyz Republic on 04.12.2015, and evaded the sentence.
It was established that in 2014-2015, in the Kyrgyz Republic Ms. AKHMATZHANOVA, together with her accomplice, by means of deceit and abuse of trust, under different pretexts appropriated funds and property of four victims, having inflicted the loss to the total amount of 2 488 900 soms.
On January 25, 2017, Ms. AKHMATZHANOVA was transferred to penitentiary facility No. 42 in Osh, Kyrgyz Republic, for serving her sentence in the form of deprivation of freedom. While working at enterprise “El kutu”, she escaped.
Since she was located in the Russian Federation, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic requested extradition of the convicted. The extradition was granted in November 2020. A special convoy transferred Ms. Zamira AKHMATZHANOVA to Kirghizia.

A person, who escaped from a penitentiary facility, has been extradited from Russia to Kirghizia
