Today, on October 29, 2014, German authorities extradited the Russian citizen Said-Emin Inalov to Russia at the request of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
The investigative authorities accuse him of committing a crime under Art. 228 Part 2 (illegal acquisition, production and storage of drugs on a large scale without a purpose of selling) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The criminal proceedings against Inalov are conducted by the Investigative Service of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia in Rostov Region.
The investigation found that in late September 2010 Inalov made a narcotic drug desomorphine weighing about 18 grams at home for personal use. He used some drug by intravenous injection and continued to keep the remaining part at home in medical syringes until it was seized by the law enforcement officials.
Since Inalov fled from prosecution in December 2010, he was put on the federal wanted list, and in January 2013 – on the international wanted list.
Due to the establishment of his location in Germany, in May 2014 the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation forwarded a request for his extradition to the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection of the Federal Republic of Germany, which was satisfied in October 2014.
Said-Emin Inalov will be delivered from Frankfurt am Main to Moscow accompanied by a special escort.
