Today, on September 11, 2014, the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation has extradited RF citizen Khabib Khabibov to Russia, in accordance with the decision of Minister of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is accused of committing a crime, set out in Part 3 of the Article 30 and Part 1 of the Article 205.1 (financing of terrorism attempt) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The criminal proceedings against Khabibov are conducted by the Investigations Division of the local Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in Stavropol territory. The initial investigation disclosed that in January 2013 Khabibov, under the guidance of so-called Amir of Hasavurt gang, has planted a cardboard box in the household territory of one of the Kislovodsk entrepreneurs. It contained a cell phone and a note, saying the entrepreneur had to activate it and to pay the sum of 3 million rubles. The said sum was to be used to finance an illegal armed group. On extradition of Russian citizen Khabib Khabibov, accused of the attempt of illegal financing of terrorism, to Russia from Bosnia and Herzegovina
