Today, upon the request of the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Spain are extraditing a citizen of the Russian Federation Daniil Aseyev. He is accused of committing 2 crimes foreseen by part 5 of article 33 - part 2 of article 188 (complicity in the smuggling of narcotic drugs with concealment from customs control, in respect of which special rules for moving through the customs border of the Russian Federation are fixed), crimes foreseen by part 3 of article 30 - paragraph "a" of part 2 of article 228.1 (encroachment on illegal sale of narcotic drugs committed by a group of persons by preliminary conspiracy) part 1 of article 30 - paragraph "g" of part 3 of article 228.1 (preparation to illegal selling of narcotic drugs in especially large scale, committed by a group of persons in a preliminary conspiracy) of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation.
The criminal case in respect of Aseyev is in the execution stage of Oktyabrsky district court of the city of Tambov.
As established by the investigation, in November 2009, Aseyev agreed with an unidentified person from Germany about sending of a parcel for himself in the name of a Sorokin. In the postal parcel there was a substance of total weight not less than 0.013 g, containing in its composition a narcotic medium amphetamine.
In March 2010 Sorokin, acting in preliminary conspiracy with Aseyev, sold a part of obtained substance for 1500 rubles.
In May 2010 Aseyev similarly agreed on sending of a parcel from Spain in the name of female citizen.
On arrival of the parcel with narcotic medium to Tambov regional branch of FPSD "Mail of Russia", Aseyev sent a citizen for its obtaining without intimating her regarding his criminal intentions. Since at passing of the customs control with use of x-ray control, in the parcel it was found a substance with total weight of 139.1 gram containing in its composition a narcotic medium amphetamine of weight of 5,05 gram, obtaining of the given parcel was implemented under the control of law-enforcement bodies. In June 2010 the female citizen was detained, and the above mentioned substance was confiscated.
In June 2011, by the Oktyabrsky district court the accomplice of the crime Sorokin was convicted for two attempts on sale of narcotic means including in particularly large amounts, and for maintaining of a drug-addicts’ haunt to 8 years of imprisonment in a correctional colony of strict regime.
Due to the fact that Aseyev violated the previously chosen measure of preventive punishment and disappeared from the judgment, in March 2011 the Oktyabrsky district court of the city of Tambov announced him in the Federal search, choosing imprisonment as a measure of preventive punishment. In November 2011 Aseyev was placed into the international wanted list.
As a result of investigative activities in February 2012, Aseyev was detained on the territory of Spain.
In March 2012, the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation forwarded a request for his extradition to the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Spain which was satisfied in November of this year.
Today, accompanied by the employees of the FSIN (Federal Service of Execution of Punishment) of Russia and the Russian Bureau of Interpol, Daniil Aseyev is extradited to Russia.

About the extradition from Spain to Russia of a citizen of the Russian Federation Daniil Aseyev accused of drug trafficking through the postal shipments from abroad
