Today, on October 12th, 2012 at the request of the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of Germany are extraditing a citizen of the Russian Federation Grigory Ebert. He is accused of committing a crime foreseen by paragraph "b" in part 2 of article 131 (rape, committed by a group of persons in a preliminary conspiracy) of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation.
The criminal case is in the execution stage of Oktyabrsky Inter-district Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Vladimir region.
As established by the investigation, in June 2002 Ebert together with two friends raped a woman in the night time near the village Suhodol of Suzdal district.
By the sentences of Suzdal district court of Vladimir region dated 09.02.2012 and .06.2012 each of the accomplices of the crime were charged to 4 years of imprisonment, conditionally, with a trial period accordingly 4 and 5 years.
Since Gregory Ebert hid himself from criminal prosecution, and it was obtained information about his location on the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany, in October 2011 he was placed into the international wanted list.
In June 2012 the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation forwarded to the competent authorities of the Germany a request for extradition of Ebert which was satisfied in September 2012.
Today, accompanied by the employees of the FSIN (Federal Service of Execution of Punishment) of Russia and the Russian Bureau of Interpol, Grigory Ebert is extradited to Russia.

About the extradition from Germany to Russia of a citizen of the Russian Federation Grigory Ebert who is accused of rape
