Today in the General Prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Sabir Kekhlerov met with the delegation of the Supreme people's Court of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam headed by the Deputy Chairman Bui Ngoc Hoa. The meeting was participated by the representatives of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation as well as the leading employees of the Supreme judicial body of Vietnam and the General Prosecutor's office of Russia.
The delegation is on an official visit to Moscow due to the invitation of the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
Sabir Kekhlerov thanked Bui Ngoc Hoa for the visit and briefly familiarized the guests with the activities of the bodies of the Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation, and also narrated to Vietnamese colleagues about the recommendations to the member States of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on the role of prosecutors outside the criminal legal system.
At the meeting there were discussed problems connected with the innovations in the Russian and Vietnamese legislation as well as the issues of modern judicial system of the two countries.
In his turn Bui Ngoc Hoa thanked Sabir Kekhlerov for the warm reception and the opportunity of exchanging opinions on a wide range of issues and also informed the Russian colleagues about the structure of the judicial power of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the role of the bodies of the Prosecutor's office in law enforcement activities.
In conclusion, Sabir Kekhlerov spoke up for the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation with courts and law enforcement bodies of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the field of protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens in the sphere of struggling against criminality.
