The General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation promptly prepared and forwarded to the General Prosecutor's office of the Ukraine the request for extradition of Adam Osmaev for bringing to criminal amenability.
Osmaev, from 2008 is in wanted list of the Russian law-and-order bodies on accusation of committing of a number of crimes of a terrorism orientation.
In February Osmaev was detained on the territory of the Ukraine on suspicion of illegal storage of explosives. Moreover, it was determined his implication in the preparation for assassination of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
