Today, upon the request of the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany are extraditing to Russia a citizen of the Russian Federation Ruslan Kochiev.
By the investigation bodies he is accused of a crime foreseen in part 3 of article 162 (robbery, i.e. an assault with the purpose of stealing of other people's property, committed with threat of application of violence dangerous for life or health, by a group of persons in a preliminary conspiracy, with the use of weapons, with illegal entry into premises, in the large scale) of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation.
The criminal case is in the executive stage of the investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania.
It is determined that in August of 2000 in the city of Vladikavkaz Kochiev on preliminary agreement with a group of people entered the premises of the administrative building of "Vetsanuboy" (slaughter, passed into the outhouse to one of the office premises and threatening with a sawn-off shotgun, committed attack against a victim which was in a car VAZ-2107, thereby causing of light harm to the health of the victim and seizing his money in the amount of 400 thousand rubles.
Since Kochiev escaped investigation, in August 2000 he was declared in the Federal search and in August 2010 he was placed into the international wanted list.
In July 2011 the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation sent a request to the Federal Ministry of justice of the Federal Republic of Germany about the extradition of Kochiev.
In connection with the acquisition in October 2010 of the information about possible residence of the searched person in Germany, in November 2010 it was sent a request for verification of this information. In spite of the fact that at the moment of detention by the law-and-order bodies of Germany, Kochiev tried to present himself for other person, he was identified and placed under pre-extradition arrest.
In October 2011 the Russian request for extradition of Kochiev was satisfied.
Today, accompanied by the employees of the FSIN (Federal Service of Execution of Punishment) of Russia and the Russian Bureau of Interpol, Ruslan Kochiev is extradited to Russia for bringing to criminal liability.
