Today, the competent authorities of the United States deported to Russia a citizen of the Russian Federation Natalia Boyarintseva.
It is determined, that Boyarintseva, in the period from July 2003 to February 2004 by misleading a citizen about her intention of selling him a part of the house and adjoining land plot, received from the mentioned person money in the amount of 400 thousand rubles. With the stolen money Boyarintseva disappeared.
In March 2005 Boyarintseva was declared in search, in 2009 she was detected on the territory of the USA.
In July 2008 the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation forwarded a request to the Ministry of Justice of the USA for extradition of Boyarintseva to Russia for bringing to criminal liability.
At the same time, Prikubansky district court of the city of Krasnodar found Boyarintseva guilty in committing of a crime foreseen by part 3 of article 159 (fraud, i.e. misappropriation of other's property by deception or abuse of confidence in large scale) of the criminal code of the Russian Federation and sentenced her to 3 years of imprisonment with serving her punishment in a corrective colony of the general regime. In accordance with Russian legislation, the verdict concerning the accused Boyarintseva was announced in her absence.
Since there is no extradition agreement between the Russian Federation and the United States of America, extradition to Russia of the mentioned person was not resolved. However, as a result of work realized by the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of the United States adopted a decided about deportation of Boyarintseva to Russia.
Today, accompanied by representatives of the competent authorities of the USA Boyarintseva was given to the employees of the Russian Bureau of Interpol for further transportation to the city of Krasnodar.
For the period from 2008 to the present time it is the fourth deportation, executed by the competent authorities of the United States, to Russia of accused for committing grave and especially grave crimes.
