Today, the Deputy General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation Sabir Kekhlerov met with the delegation of the Supreme Court of Cassation of the Republic of Bulgaria headed by its Chairman Lazar Gruev.
The meeting was also attended by senior officers of the General Prosecutor's office of Russia.
Deputy General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation thanked Lazar Gruev for the visit and briefly introduces the guests with the activities and the structure of the bodies of the Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation of the Republic of Bulgaria informed the Russian colleagues about the structure of the judicial power of the Republic of Bulgaria and the role of the bodies of the Prosecutor's office in law-and-order activities. In the course of the dialogue the parties have agreed in opinions that the structure and powers of the law-and-order bodies of two countries have much in common.
Sabir Kekhlerov stated about firm focusing towards the development of bilateral relations which will allow not only increasing of the effectiveness of joint work but also strengthening of interdepartmental cooperation in the field of protection of civil rights and the struggling against criminality.
In his turn, Lazar Gruev gratified Sabir Kekhlerov for the warm reception and the given opportunity to exchange opinions on a wide range of issues.
The delegation is on an official visit to Moscow at the invitation of the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
