About the extradition from Germany to Russia of a citizen of the Russian Federation Aleksey Pfeiffer accused of hooliganism and other crimes

Today, upon the request of the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation the competent authorities of the Republic of Germany are extraditing to Russia a citizen of the Russian Federation Aleksey Pfeiffer. By the investigation authorities he is accused of committing crimes foreseen by paragraph "a" in part 2 of article 213 (hooliganism), paragraph "a" in part 2 of article 166 (illegal acquisition of a vehicle without the purpose of stealing (driving away) committed by a group of persons in preliminary agreement) and paragraph "a" in part 2 of article 158 (theft, committed by a group of persons in preliminary agreement) of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation.

The criminal case against Pfeiffer is in the execution stage of the Azov district court of Omsk region.

It is established that Aleksey Pfeiffer in August 2000, being in a forest near the village Ruslanovka of Omsk region, in hooligan intentions together with Becker V.V. and Ling V.V. beat up three other people and took the car of one of the beaten persons, damaged the car and stole a number of personal items from the car that belonged to the owner of this car.

In connection with the fact that Pfeiffer disappeared from the criminal prosecution, in August 2001 he was declared in the Federal search and in June 2010 he was placed into the international wanted list and at the same time he was discovered on the territory of Germany.

The General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation in August 2010 sent to the competent authorities of Germany a request about his extradition for bringing him to criminal responsibility which was satisfied in March 2011.

Today, accompanied by the employees of the FSIN (Federal Service of Execution of Punishment) of Russia and the Russian Bureau of Interpol, Aleksey Pfeiffer is extradited to Russia.
