Today, upon the request of the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Norway are extraditing to Russia a citizen of the Russian Federation Andriak Dalakyan. By the investigation authorities he is accused of committing a crime foreseen by paragraph "c" in part 2 of article 131 (rape, i.e. sexual intercourse connected with the threat of murder) of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation.
The criminal case against Dalakyan is in the execution stage of Orenburg city interdistrict investigative department of the investigative board under the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Orenburg region.
The crime was committed in April 2001 in the city of Orenburg.
In connection with the fact that Dalakyan disappeared from the bodies of preliminary investigation, in June 2005 he was placed into the international wanted list. In June 2006 it was determined that Dalakyan is serving his sentence in Norway for committing of a murder on the territory of that country, in the form of deprivation of freedom for a period of 11 years.
In July 2006 the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation sent to the Ministry of justice of the Kingdom of Norway a petition about extradition of Dalakyan for bringing him to the criminal responsibility.
In March 2011 by the competent authorities of Norway it was accepted the decision about satisfaction of the application for extradition of Dalakyan.
Today, accompanied by the employees of the FSIN (Federal Service of Execution of Punishment) of Russia and the Russian Bureau of Interpol, Andriak Dalakyan is extradited to Russia.
For the period of the year of 2011 this is the second extradition made by the competent authorities of Norway to the Russian Federation of those who were accused of crimes connected with attacks and use of weapons.
