Today, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany are extraditing to Russia Rubens Maro, a citizen of the Russian Federation. The investigation bodies accuse him of the crime, defined in Article 30 (3), article 105 (1) (attempted murder) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
In January 2009 the federal search for Rubens Maro was announced, as well as his international search.
In August 2009 Maro was arrested on the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.
In September 2009 the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation forwarded a request to the Federal Ministry of Justice of the Federal Republic of Germany for the extradition of Rubens Maro in order to bring him to criminal liability, and this request was allowed in October 2009.
