On September 24, 2008, upon request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of the Czech Republic extradite Russian citizen Vladimir Sayetov to Russia.
The investigative authorities charged V.Sayetov with the commission of crimes defined by Article 228.1, part 3, para. “d” (trafficking in drug substances committed by a group of individuals upon a preliminary conspiracy on especially large scale) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The criminal case against V.Sayetov is under investigation by the Investigative Department under the Department of Internal Affairs for the Bryansk Region.
The investigation established that in March 2007, in Bryansk, V.Sayetov twice trafficked a large amount of narcotic drugs – a substance that contained heroin.
In February 2008, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation submitted a request for extradition of V.Sayetov to the competent authorities of the Czech Republic, which was satisfied in July 2008.
Today, V.Sayetov will be extradited to Russia under the escort of the Russian Interpol Bureau and the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia officers.

Extradition of Russian Citizen Vladimir Sayetov, Charged with Drug Trafficking, from the Czech Republic to Russia
