On February 29, 2008 the competent authorities of Greece extradited Nikolay Brusnik to Russia upon request of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
It is noteworthy that N.Brusnik as a civil servant – he was an international carrier master, having misused his authorities smuggled goods on a large scale across the border of the Russian Federation.
The criminal case against N.Brusnik is investigated by the Investigative Service of the Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for St.Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.

Extradition of Nikolay Brusnik, Charged with Smuggling, to Russia
