Based on the verdict of the panel of jurors on January 14. 2008 , Moscow City Court sentenced the participants of the 'Kingisep group.'
In late 1992, in Moscow there was a gang, that was involved in commiting murders and became known as 'Kingeseppskaya'.
According to the investigation, one of the founders of the group is Imran Ilyasov, who was found guilty of organizing 4 murders. Namely, in December 1992 he killed the cousin of his business partner Ruslan Kadiev ( 'Empire of Nasser Safiev'), in Minsk in May 1993, the chairman of the board of directors CRA «Belbiznesbank» Lisnichuk Alexander, in January 1994, Deputy Director General of Novo-Ufa Oil Refinery Salavat Gaynanov, and director general of «Avalon-Trade» Nadir Akhmedov.
Alexei Zazdravnov, Igor Povarennykh, Albert Frolin, Edward Zaitsev, Oleg Bartnev, Valentin Lapichev, Alexander Sukharev and Andrei Abramov are defendants in this case. The court found Imran Ilyasov guilty of establishing a sustainable criminal gang and perpetrating murders (ch.1 art. CCRF 209, ch.4 article 17, Art. RSFSR Penal Code 102) and sentenced him to 19 years in prison with serving sentences of strict correctional colony regime. Other group members were found guilty of involvement in the murder. In accordance with the jury's verdict, Edward Sukharev and Alexander Zaitsev accused of involvement in the criminal group, as well as the murder were acquited by the court. Note: on March 7, 2007, the Moscow City Court passed the first sentence regarding seven members of the 'Kingesep Group', recognizing them guilty of banditry, the 5 murders in Ufa and Moscow, in one attempted murder and sentenced them to prison.

'Participants of Kingisep Group sentenced'
