Day of Prosecutor's worker of Russian Federation.

January 12, this year, is the 286th aniversary since the establishment of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Russia. On this day, its birthday is celebrated by every professional prosecutor of the Russian Federation.

Today, the General Prosecutor's Office in the Russian Federation, held a solemn meeting dedicated to the upcoming anniversary. It was attended by the Assistant President of the Russian Federation Viktor Ivanov, deputy chairman of the Federation Council Alexander Torshin and other invited guests. Speaking to the staff and guests, the Russian Federation’s Attorney-General Yuriy Chayka said that the prosecutional bodies always worked as real patriots for whom care for the honor and dignity of the professional uniform is more than mere words. It is no accident that at the core of prosecutorial ethics have always been and remain - loyalty, dedication, care for man.

«We all have only one mission - said Yuriy Chayka. - It is good and responsible - firmly uphold the law. We now require the efforts of by far greater magnitude than ever. The logic of the main objectives is to make visible the result of our labor, in particular, the Public Prosecutions. For the trust and respect of Russian citizens are based on real actions aimed at strengthening law and order.»

«Today, I want to thank you all for the good teamwork, support and professionalism in the way of implementation of the key objectives of the prosecution to ensure the rule of law, protect the rights and freedoms of man and citizen.»

The Attorney General of the Russian Federation informed the audience that the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, 76 members of the public prosecutor's office were awarded prizes. 115 Prosecutorial employees assigned the highest ranking positions. 62 procuratorial officers are awarded honorary diplomas, and valuable gifts from the Federation Council. 540 were Awarded Diplomas of the Prosecutor General of Russia, 356 badges 'Honored worker of the Russian Federation,' 76 people received a registered weapon.

In concluding his presentation, Yuriy Chayka congratulated the audience upon their professional holiday — Day of prosecutor's worker and wished them good results in performance, endurance and stamina in the noble spirit of the service to the Fatherland.
