Between 11-13 of June 2008, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yuri Chaika will take part in the G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial Meeting (Tokyo, Japan).
During the plenary sessions, the delegates will discuss such themes as fight against terrorism, drug trafficking and sexual exploitation of children. The participants will also discuss capacity building assistance to third countries to combat crime and fight against transnational organized crime worldwide.
Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yuri Chaika will deliver his report on the fight against terrorism on June12th 2008.
The meeting will conclude in the adoption of a final Declaration and also the Declaration on Capacity Building Assistance to Combat Terrorism and Crime of the G8 Ministers of Justice, Ministers of Home Affairs and Prosecutors General.
