This year, the Cup is being held in Kazan. Over 600 young athletes from 48 regions of our country – a record number of participants – will compete for the title of the sharpest shooter at the Ak Bars Arena stadium, able to hold thousands of visitors. Teams from the Zaporozhye, Kaluga, and Sakhalin regions are participating for the first time.
"This is the fourth year we have been meeting at various arenas across our vast country. And today, another tournament begins here. We are happy to see you all! We are delighted to welcome you! Archery requires great concentration. And, of course, I would like to wish you a competitive, fair fight, and that your arrows fly in the right direction. "And most importantly, I wish you exciting athletic intrigue!" Igor Krasnov noted, welcoming fans of the sport.
The Russian Prosecutor General's Archery Cup is included in the Unified Sports Calendar of the Russian Ministry of Sport and annually produces new titled champions. The previous tournament was held at the Fisht Olympic Stadium. At that event, held on the Black Sea coast, six archers received the honorary title of Master of Sports of the Russian Federation. Athletes from the Zabaikalsky Krai emerged as the clear favorites in the team standings, winning seven gold, four silver, and three bronze medals.
In the capital of Tatarstan, the participants will compete for 32 sets of medals in two age categories in the disciplines of classic and compound archery, in individual and team competitions.

The head of the supervisory agency also visited the Olympic Reserve School in Kazan, where he launched the construction of a large-scale sports facility – the Archery Center. The implementation of this unique project for the region marks an important stage in the development of the city and republic's sports infrastructure.
"Today, we are laying the foundation for a home for archers, for children—for those who will practice this sport. I believe it will attract not only athletes and children, but also their parents and coaches. And all residents of Tatarstan. And not just residents of Tatarstan—all Russians! I wish everyone success! And may your arrows always hit the bull's eye!" emphasized Igor Krasnov.
This specialized complex is designed to train both professional athletes and anyone interested in trying their hand at this sport. It will meet all modern requirements for hosting competitions at the highest level, and its technical capabilities will allow for the simultaneous training of 160 archers.
