Dear colleagues, dear veterans, and friends!
Today, on November 4th, we celebrate a state holiday – National Unity Day! It symbolizes the civic solidarity of Russians and each person's responsibility to our great country and future generations.
At turning points in history, the fate of our state has repeatedly been determined by its most important quality – the ability to unite. The heroic deeds of Kuzma Minin, Dmitry Pozharsky, and the people's volunteer corps members exemplify true patriotism. Their unity served as the key to victory over the invaders and became a symbol of national unity.
In the face of external threats and in the name of defending the Fatherland, we have always stood together to defend the independence of our Homeland, its ideals, and the values of its multinational people.
I am confident that the prosecutor's office will, as before, honorably fulfill its professional and moral duty. Through means of oversight it will address all the tasks set by the country's leadership.
