Upon the plane crash of Falcon 50, which occurred on October 20, 2014 at Vnukovo Airport, on October 21, 2014 the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated and inverstigated the criminal case for offences under Article 263 Part 3 of the the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of safety and operation of air transport ).
In October 2014 the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation received a request from Ministry of Justice of the French Republic for legal assistance in a criminal case initiated by prosecution for Tribunal de Grande Instance in Paris upon the death of four French citizens in plane crash at Vnukovo Airport.
In its address the Ministry of Justice of France requested, in particular, for submitting proceedings of the Russian criminal case and the copies of digital media with with photo and video recordings made when inspecting of the accident scene.
Today, on January 20, 2015, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation through the Embassy of the French Republic in the Russian Federation submitted the requested materials to the competent authorities of this country.
