The meeting of the Deputy General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation and the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan has taken place

Today, in the General Prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation the Deputy General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation Sabir Kekhlerov met with the delegation of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by its Chairman Buritosh Mustafayev. The meeting was attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziyadulla Pulatkhodjaeyev, as well as the senior officers of the supreme judicial body of Uzbekistan and the General Prosecutor's office of Russia.

The delegation is staying in Moscow on an official visit at the invitation of the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

Sabir Kekhlerov gratified Buritosh Mustafayev for the visit and briefly introduced the guests with the activities of the bodies of the Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation.

At the meeting they discussed the problems, connected with the novelties in Russian and Uzbek legislation as well as the issues of the modern judicial system in Uzbekistan and Russia.

In his turn Buritosh Mustafaev thanked Sabir Kekhlerov for the warm reception and the opportunity to exchange opinions on a wide range of issues, and also spoke about a 10 year experience of the appellate courts in Uzbekistan.

In conclusion Sabir Kekhlerov called for the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation with courts and law-and-order bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens in the field of struggling against criminality.
