It has been signed an Agreement on cooperation between the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Prosecutor's office of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea

Today in the General Prosecutor's office of Russia it was held a meeting of Deputy General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation Viktor Grin’ and Deputy Supreme Prosecutor of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Cher Su.

 

The delegation is on an official visit to Moscow due to the invitation of the General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation.

 

In the course of the meeting it was signed the Agreement on cooperation between the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Prosecutor's office of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

 

The document provides for the holding of meetings and consultations for the exchange of experiences, cooperation in the field of mutual legal assistance in criminal matters and extradition, skills development of agencies employees. Moreover, by the agreement it is foreseen the exchange of information about the legal system and legislation of two countries, carrying out of joint researches, conferences and seminars on topical issues of the activity.

Kim Cher Su noted that friendly relations between Russia and the DPRK have established long times back. He stressed that the signed Agreement is the first official interagency document which will give a new impetus to the development of bilateral relations.

 

In his turn, Viktor Grin’, noted that the Agreement will contribute to further positive development of the traditional good-neighborly relations of our States and its realization will allow to increase the effectiveness of joint work, to strengthen mutual understanding in the field of protection of citizens' rights and the struggling against criminality.
