The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation held a round table with colleagues from the Kingdom of Cambodia

Within the framework of implementation of the Program of Cooperation between the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and the General Prosecution Office to the Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Cambodia for 2025-2026, a round table organized by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia was held. It was conducted via videoconference.

The Cambodian delegation was headed by the Deputy Prosecutor General to the Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Phann Vanrath. From the Russian side, representatives of the specialized units of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, chaired by the Head of the General Organizational and Analytical Department, Andrey Nekrasov, participated.

The main topic of the event was the implementation of digital technologies and prospects for the use of artificial intelligence in prosecutorial supervision.

The participants discussed the issues of law-enforcement practice and the role of new information technologies in increasing the effectiveness of law enforcement activities. They exchanged experience in implementing automated monitoring and analysis systems, discussed possibilities of integration of innovative solutions for enhancing the quality of crime investigations and reinforcing legality.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue mutually beneficial cooperation and to further exchange experience, including with the aim of improving the legal systems of both countries. The materials of the round table will be used for further development of the professional competence of prosecutors of Russia and Cambodia.
