Representatives of the Russian delegation gave lectures to prosecutors of the Republic of Belarus. The event, aimed at enhancing professional dialogue, was organized as part of the development of cooperation between two countries.
The lectures covered such practically significant topics as “Practice of prosecutorial supervision over compliance with legislation on enforcement proceedings,” “Prosecutor’s supervision of the implementation of laws on the safety of population, including prevention of deaths in fires,” and “Practical implementation of the provisions of the Protocol against the Smuggling of Migrants by Land, Sea and Air, supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime of November 15, 2000, by the competent state authorities of the Russian Federation”.
Belarusian colleagues emphasized that such meetings not only allow them to learn about effective approaches to exercising supervisory powers, but also contribute to the development of uniform regulatory enforcement practices, the improvement of working methods and, as a result, the maintenance of law and order and security in the Union State.
Russian experts highlighted that regular exchanges of experience between Russian and Belarusian supervisory authorities are a traditional and important element of cooperation aimed at advanced training of personnel and solving common tasks in the field of strengthening the rule of law.
