The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has recognized the activities of The George Washington University as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation based on the results of an inspection.
A special analytical center for the study of Russian society, politics, and economy operates within the university's structure, which in practice provides a platform for anti-Russian statements, reports aimed at discrediting Russia, including in connection with the conduct of the special military operation.
The George Washington University financed foreign media, individuals, and organizations on the territory of our country performing the functions of a foreign agent.
At the same time, the university maintains a media resource on which materials of foreign agents and undesirable organizations about the socio-political situation in Russia are systematized, publications about international isolation are circulated, and calls to the authorities in Washington to increase sanctions pressure on our country are voiced.
