The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation Hosts Ceremonial Event Marking the 304th Anniversary of the Prosecution Service

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin congratulated prosecution service employees on their professional holiday in a video address.

The ceremonial event was attended by Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Gutsan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation Vladimir Ostrovenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Chief of the Government Staff of the Russian Federation Dmitry Grigorenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yakushev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Zhukov, Deputy Prosecutors General of the Russian Federation, employees of the central office and prosecutor's offices of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the Main Military Prosecutor's Office, and the University of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation.

In his address, Aleksandr Gutsan emphasized that the continuity of generations and the highest standards of professionalism have formed a solid foundation upon which new areas of oversight and competencies are developing.

The head of the oversight agency noted the selfless work of his colleagues, their dedication to the chosen profession, which have made it possible to achieve significant results in ensuring the rule of law, strengthening law and order, and protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens.
