The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has declared undesirable on the territory of our country the activities of the non-governmental organization "Medical Initiative for Human Rights."
The primary efforts of its employees are directed at conducting so-called investigations in the context of the special military operation, for which they allegedly regularly visit the combat zone to collect evidence.
The movement’s representatives count among their achievements the organization of the international conference "Crimea Global: Understanding Ukraine through the South," the purpose of which was to disseminate information about the "occupation of the peninsula, human rights violations and political persecution," the launch of the "Release Hostages" campaign in support of allegedly unlawfully detained Ukrainian civilians, the establishment of the institution of military ombudsman in Ukraine, and the appointment of its co-founder and former head to that position.
The organization actively interacts with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the organizations Amnesty International Ltd and Human Rights Watch, Inc (with the activities of the latter two declared undesirable).
Its functionaries regularly take part in events of an anti-Russian sentiment and disseminate unreliable and discrediting information about the Russian Federation on the Internet.

Organization Established in Ukraine Declared Undesirable
