Today, at a formal ceremony, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Gutsan presented awards to participants in the O.T. Ankudinov All-Russian Competition for the title of “Best State Prosecutor.”
The competition is being held for the 15th time, and to mark the occasion a new departmental award has been established — the “Best State Prosecutor” badge of distinction, as a symbol of the highest professionalism. It will be awarded only once a year and only to the participant who takes first place.
Thirteen prosecutors reached the final: representatives of both the district level and the prosecution offices of the constituent entities of the Federation. Each of them delivered a vivid and talented address on a training criminal case.
First place went to Georgy Izmailov, senior prosecutor of the State Prosecutors Division of the Criminal-Judicial Directorate of the Prosecutor’s Office of Krasnoyarsk Krai. He was presented with the “Best State Prosecutor” badge of distinction.
Second place was shared by Dmitry Konovalov, head of the State Prosecutors Division of the Criminal-Judicial Directorate of the Prosecutor’s Office of Omsk Region, and Yevgenia Ryzhkina, senior prosecutor of the State Prosecutors Division of the Criminal-Judicial Directorate of the Prosecutor’s Office of Rostov Region. They were awarded the breast badge “For Impeccable Service in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation”.
Third place went to Yury Kudinov, prosecutor of the Criminal-Judicial Division of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District – Yugra, and Yaroslav Nedosekin, Deputy Prosecutor of Pushkino Town, Moscow Region. They were presented with Rudenko medals.
Special awards were conferred on prosecutors singled out by the competition commission of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation — Anastasia Koganova, head of the State Prosecutors Division of the Criminal-Judicial Directorate of the Prosecutor’s Office of Samara Region, and Olga Kochkina, prosecutor of the Criminal-Judicial Division of the Prosecutor’s Office of Kherson Region. They were presented with Yaguzhinsky medals.
The finalists were presented with commemorative gifts.
