On behalf of Igor Krasnov, a meeting was held at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation with representatives of the Chinese delegation, which was headed by Ye Min, member of the party group of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the head of the group for inspection and supervision of discipline of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the State Control Committee of the People's Republic of China.
On behalf of the host party, Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia Pyotr Gorodov delivered a welcoming speech: he emphasized the high level of relations between Russia and China, which determines the successful continuation of strengthening bilateral ties between the agencies.
“The Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia is vested with broad powers to supervise the implementation of laws in the country and is the coordinator of law enforcement bodies in combating crime,” noted the Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia. – The leading role is assigned to our agency in countering corruption. Moreover, the Russian prosecutor’s office pays special attention to protecting business and the interests of entrepreneurs.”
Representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation provided their Chinese partners with information about their experience in ensuring a favourable economic environment for the business community, as well as on key areas of activity of the Russian prosecutor's office in the anti-corruption field.
In turn, Ye Min expressed gratitude for the welcome at the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia, as well as the interesting and constructive discussion that took place.
At the end of the meeting, the event participants expressed their absolute interest in continuing cooperation.
