Today, Mr. Igor Krasnov, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, has met with the Prosecutors General of the CIS States Parties in Saint Petersburg.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Kamran Aliyev, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Artur Davtyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Andrey Shved, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Gizat Nurdauletov, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kurmankul Zulushev, Prosecutor General of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Alexandr Stoianoglo, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Mr. Nigmatilla Yuldashev, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Having welcomed his colleagues, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation emphasized that the common tasks which had been faced by the bodies of the Prosecution Services of the CIS States Parties necessitated the consolidation of efforts, including within the framework of various international forums.
Mr. Igor Krasnov expressed confidence having said, ‘This meeting will give an additional impetus to the formation of a safe environment for the Commonwealth.’
At the end of the event, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation invited the Prosecutors General of the CIS States Parties to commemorate a milestone event for the Russian Prosecution Service, i.e. the 300th anniversary of the establishment thereof, the celebration of which was scheduled for January 12, 2022.
