The 7th Meeting of the Working Group of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Justice of the State of Israel on Problems of Cooperation in Criminal Proceeding has taken place in Jerusalem.
The Russian delegation headed by Mr. Vyacheslav MIKHEYEV, Head of the General Department of International Legal Cooperation of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, consisted of representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the State of Israel.
From the Israeli part representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Israel Police and the Israel Customs Administration.
During the meeting a wide range of issues was discussed, pertaining to protection of human rights and freedoms, activity in combating crime, including cyber-crime, recovery of illegal assets, as well as extradition and legal assistance in criminal matters.
A number of agreements have been reached concerning cooperation in specific criminal matters.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere of mutual understanding.

Meeting of the Russian-Israeli Working Group on Problems of Cooperation in Criminal Proceeding has taken place
The 7th Meeting of the Working Group of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Justice of the State of Israel on Problems of Cooperation in Criminal Proceeding has taken place in Jerusalem.
