Today on 1 February 2016 working meeting of the Prosecutor General of Russia and the delegation of the State Prosecutor of the Kingdom of Sweden on cooperation in criminal matters took place.
The Swedish delegation was headed by the Chief of the National Anti-Corruption Crime Unit of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Kingdom of Sweden Gunnar Stetler who arrived to Moscow with a working visit at the invitation of the law-enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.
The Parties discussed perspectives of cooperation in the sphere of rendering legal assistance in criminal matters as well as in fighting corruption, including process and results of investigating particular criminal cases bearing mutual interest.
Following the results of the meeting, the Parties expressed mutual interest in continuing close cooperation in fighting corruption.
