In Paris the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yury Chaika and the Minister of Justice, the Referendary of the French Republic Christiane Taubira signed the Program of inter-institutiobal cooperation

During the visit to Paris Yury Chayka, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, met Christiane Taubira, the Minister of Justice, the Referendary of the French Republic. 

During this meeting the issues of bilateral interaction development were discussed. 

The Cooperation Program between the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Justice of the French Republic was signed for two years which provides for holding special activities on relevant for the parties activity areas. Among them there are crime prevention, in particular corruption, including cooperation in the field of seizure and returning of proceeds of crime as well as providing protection of human rights and public interests out of criminal sphere, including by participation of the prosecutors in civil and commercial proceedings. Cooperation in the field of extradition and rendering legal assistance in criminal cases was specifically addressed. 

In particular, the French colleagues were submitted the materials of two executed in Russia requests for legal assistance in the case of the tragical death of four French citizens, including the President of Oil Corporation Total Christophe de Margerie in a plane crash at Vnukovo Airport, Moscow in October 2014.
