Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Alexander Zvyagintsev spent in the General Prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation working meeting with the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme people Prosecutor’s office of People's Republic of China Zhu Xiaoqinfg. The meeting was participated by the representatives of the Supreme people Prosecutor’s office of People's Republic of China and the senior employees of the General Prosecutor’s office of Russia.
Welcoming the guest, Alexander Zvyagintsev stressed that Russia and China are tied with traditionally good and friendly relations and that allows working in a constructive way, including in the law enforcement sphere. He noted that in the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation only in this year there were held 11 meetings with the representatives of the People's Republic of China including with the staff of the Supreme People's Prosecutor’s office, with the employees of the Ministry of justice, with employees of the Embassy of the PRC.
Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation invited the Chinese colleagues to the 18th Annual conference and General meeting of the International Association of prosecutors which will be carried out in Moscow in September 2013. Alexander Zvyagintsev informed that it is expected arrival of about 170 delegations to this event from all over the world.
In his turn Zhu Xiaoqing thanked Alexander Zvyagintsev for the warm reception and the opportunity of exchanging of opinions on a wide range of issues particularly noting that the Prosecutor's office of China and Russia have very good constructive relations. «Between the departments two years ago it was signed a Program for cooperation in the years of 2011 and 2012 and it is successfully implementing. “We highly appreciate Your contribution to the development of relations between the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China” - Zhu Xiaoqing said.
The Chinese colleagues with interest got acquainted with the structure of the bodies of the Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation, with the history of their development as well as with reforms of the Russian Supervisory body at the modern stage.
In conclusion the sides expressed confidence that the meeting would contribute to more efficient professional ties and development of the dialogue on a wide range of legal issues.
