Today, on August 28, 2014, as a continuation of the conversation of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yuri Chaika and the President of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) Gerhard Jarosch, the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Zvyagintsev held talks with the Secretary General of the International Association of Prosecutors Derk Kuipers (Holland) during which they discussed the questions of cooperation between the IAP and the Russian Office of the Prosecutor General and specified the 2015-2016 Program of Action.
Aleksandr Zvyagintsev also met with Peter Polt, Chief Prosecutor of Hungary and President of the Conference of Visegrad Group Prosecutors General. The Visegrad Four is the association of four central European states: Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic. They discussed some specific issues of bilateral cooperation of the Russian and Hungarian Prosecutor’s Offices. The conversation referred to the cooperation development aimed at upholding the rule of law and protection of human rights and rights and freedoms of citizens.
