Today on September 27th, 2012 the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Alexander Zvyagintsev held in the General Prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation a working meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Russian Federation Boiko Kocev.
Welcoming the guest, Alexander Zvyagintsev emphasized that our countries have tied with traditionally good and friendly relations and this allows working in a constructive way, including in the law enforcement sphere. He spoke up for the extension of the existing bilateral contractual-legal base of cooperation by means of signing the Program of interdepartmental cooperation for the nearest coming years.
At the meeting there were discussed the questions of interaction of the General Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation and the law enforcement bodies of the Republic of Bulgaria, including its perspectives as well as cooperation with the competent bodies of the Republic of Bulgaria in the areas of extradition and legal assistance in criminal matters, and also in the issues of counteraction to crimes in sphere of computer technologies.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Russian Federation thanked for the opportunity of exchanging opinions on a wide range of issues.
The participants of the meeting also agreed on carrying out a number of joint activities, including seminars and round tables.
