In the General Prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation it was held a meeting with the delegation of the anti-corruption Committee under the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Today, on June 26, 2012 in the General Prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation with the purpose of experience exchange in the field of struggling against corruption at the initiative of the Vietnamese side, it was held the first meeting with the delegation of the Committee on warning and struggling against corruption under the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

From the Russian side the meeting was attended by the head of the Main Department of Personnel Serghey Zamuruev and the deputy heads of the department on supervision of the execution of the law on struggling against corruption - the head of the organizational-analytical department Aslan Yusufov, the head of the department for supervision of the execution of the Federal legislation Valery Volkov and the head of the department on supervision over criminal-procedural activities, ensuring the participation of prosecutors in the examination of criminal cases by the courts Irina Bobinova.

The foreign delegation was headed by the head of the office of the Committee of warning and struggle against corruption under the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (in the rank of Minister) Nguyen Dinh Fatem.

In the course of the meeting the participants of the Vietnamese delegation were acquainted with main directions of anti-corruption activities of the Prosecutor's office of Russia and its implementation, the causes of emergence and dissemination of corruption, the normative legal base in this sphere, peculiarities of the consideration of criminal cases of this category in the court, the reception and the process of consideration of petitions about corruption-related cases, and also discussed the issues related with the procedure for selection of civil servants in the context of struggling against corruption in Russia.

Then the sides exchanged opinions and stated that further Russian-Vietnamese cooperation will be productive and mutually beneficial and undoubtedly increase the efficiency of work in the field of protection of civil rights and struggling against criminality.

In the course of the visit of the Vietnamese delegation also held a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of the Russian Federal authorities of legislative government and other law enforcement organs.
