Persons accused of the crimes against the individual and drug trafficking, have been extradited from Russia to Uzbekistan

The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has extradited four persons for the purpose of criminal prosecution to the competent authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Rustam ABDURASHITOV is accused of the fact that in July 2013, in Ohangaron, Tashkent Region, Republic of Uzbekistan, being a dangerous recidivist, threatened the female victim with a kitchen-knife and stole the victim’s money. Then he beat her, threatening to kill and raped.

Shahriddin DAVRONOV is accused of the fact that from March 2007 till February 2017, in Uzbekistan, working as a manager of the warehouse of the central material and technical base of the Southern Mine Managing Department of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combinat in Nurabad and being a materially responsible person stole the assets entrusted to him in especially large amount.

Marfuza USMONOVA is accused of the fact that in July 2016, in Uzbekistan, being a dangerous recidivist, fraudulently misappropriated money of the victim, causing her significant material damage amounted to $ 2700.

Moreover, in April 2020, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation granted the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan for extradition of Komil BOZOROV with the purpose of carrying out of the sentence of the Nurabad District Criminal Court of the Samarkand Region, Republic of Uzbekistan of November 25, 2011.

He was found guilty of illegal sale of heroin narcotic drug in large amount, in September 2011, in the Kattakurgan Region of the Samarkand Region, Republic of Uzbekistan.

Moreover, Ulugbek MURTAZOEV has been extradited for the purpose of criminal prosecution for fraud.

The above persons were arrested in the Russian Federation on separate occasions. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued the requests for their extradition.

The decisions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation on extradition have become final. The Federal Penitentiary Service has been charged with surrender of the fugitives while meeting the security requirements.

The fugitives have been convoyed to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
