Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov had a working meeting with Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Artur Davtyan during his working visit to Vladivostok.

Igor Krasnov thanked his foreign colleague for accepting an invitation to participate in the Eastern Economic Forum.

“I am confident that experience of prosecutor’s office of Armenia will be of genuine interest for participants of the event” – noted Igor Krasnov.

Topical issues of rendering legal assistance and other aspects of international cooperation were discussed during the meeting of heads of supervisory authorities.Igor Krasnov said: “Together we are striving at comprehensive protection of rights of citizens of our states, strengthening of lawfulness, law and order, and fighting crimes, which do not have state borders”.

Prosecutors General of Russia and Armenia agreed on further steps aimed at implementation of Memorandum and Program, concluded earlier this year, and providing priority directions of cooperation, including on the visit of the Russian delegation to Yerevan to discuss counteraction to illegal transnational movement of digital financial assets, cybercrime and corruption. 

Igor Krasnov invited Artur Davtyan to Moscow to celebrate 300 hundred years anniversary of the Russian prosecutor’s service in January 2022, having assured that “the existing vector of development of relations will further successful search for solutions in the fight against challenges and threats, increase of effectiveness of efforts aimed at ensuring the rule of law”.

Tomorrow, on 3 September, heads of prosecutor’s offices of Russia and Armenia, within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum, will participate in the session “National jurisdiction and trust in international relations as a guarantee of attraction of investments”.
