Persons accused of crimes against property and illegal turnover of narcotic drugs were extradited from Russia to Uzbekistan

The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation extradited to the competent authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan five citizens, who had committed crimes on the territory of the said state.

Erkin Kamolov is accused of the fact that in 2019 in Fergana he promised to hire a son of a victim to the National Guard Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan for pecuniary recompense. At the same time initially he did not have an intent to meet his obligations. Thus, he stole US$ 1000 from the victim.

Khamid Muslimov was found guilty of involvement of under-aged persons into the commission of a theft. In March 2018, he and other accomplices, having broken a door, entered the premises of a canteen, and secretly stole property at amount of 6 million 450 thousand sums.

Ravshan Yusupov is accused of the fact that in 2019 in Namagana, upon previous concert with another person, he forged resolutions of hokim of Namagana on allocation of land plots, and stole monetary funds from the victims with the use of these resolutions.

Umid Bekanov was found guilty of the fact that in February 2017 in the Republic of Uzbekistan, by deceit and breach of trust, he acquired monetary funds of a victim on a large scale.

Bakhrom Madatov was found guilty of attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs on the territory of Chilinzar district of Tashkent.

The above-mentioned persons were detained on the territory of the Russian Federation at different times. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan prepared corresponding requests for their extradition.

Decisions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation on their extradition entered their legal force, and the Federal Penitentiary Service was instructed to carry out the handing over of the persons subject to necessary safety measures.

Special convoy escorted them to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
