Upon the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Sweden will extradite Umalat Bokov to Russia. He is accused of committing the crime provided for by Article 105 (1) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
According to the investigation, in June 2021, in a residential house in Kaliningrad, he stabbed a man with a knife in the chest. The victim died in a hospital from the received injuries.
Since Bokov absconded from the law enforcement authorities, he was placed on the wanted list.
In March 2022, due to the fact that he was detained in the territory of Sweden, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation sent a request for extradition of the accused to the foreign colleagues, and it was granted.
Owing to the coordinated actions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and the organized close interaction with the competent authorities of Sweden, it was possible to attain the positive decision.
Accompanied by officers of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and the Russian Interpol Bureau, Umalat Bokov will be delivered to Moscow.

National accused of murder to be extradited to Russia from Sweden
