The Prosecutor General of Russia thanked his colleague for the invitation to the Summit and positively assessed the implementation of joint agreements, including those reached at the last meeting in Vladivostok.

Igor Krasnov expressed his readiness to send his representatives to Azerbaijan by the end of this year to participate in the seminar on working with electronic evidence, using modern technologies and digitalizing the activities of prosecutors. They will also be able to conduct training events on topics of interest to Azerbaijani prosecutors.

Recalling the regular meeting of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS members that took place on October 4 in Yerevan, the head of the Russian supervisory agency offered to support his initiatives to ensure the participation of representatives of CIS industry cooperation bodies in meetings of the Council, primarily those whose competence includes issues of ensuring law and order, as well as to include representatives of the General Prosecutor's Offices participating in its work in the Secretariat of the Council.

“Your initiative to intensify the work of law enforcement agencies to combat climate change fully fits into the Russian concept. I have no doubt that the potential of the Prosecutor’s Office in solving this problem will be in demand,” Igor Krasnov said.

The Prosecutor General of Russia focused on the need to preserve the ecosystem of the Caspian Region and proposed working on additional forms of consolidating efforts to prevent the negative impact of violations of the law on the climate.

“Your professional developments, outlined at the 29th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, will be of interest to our colleagues in the Interstate Council for Countering Corruption (ICCC), the CCPG and the SCO,” the head of the Russian delegation said.
