The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has decided to declare the activities of the foreign non-governmental organization Compelson s.r.o. (Czech Republic) undesirable in the territory of the Russian Federation.

The organization was registered in Prague in 1993.

It provides intelligence and law enforcement agencies of various countries, including the United States, with software that allows them to access, examine and analyze information on electronic devices, including deleted data. After the start of the Special Military Operation, the organization’s members provided free software and hardware licenses to the armed forces and intelligence agencies of Ukraine. They are used to access information contained in mobile phones and smart watches, social media accounts and “cloud” data storages, and automatically analyze files, contacts, correspondence, call history and movements of the device owner.

On behalf of the organization’s director, information is disseminated on the Internet that Ukrainian security forces use Compelson software “to defend themselves against Russia”.
