The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has recognized the activities of the foreign non-governmental organization Associaҫa͂o de russos livres (Portuguese Republic) as undesirable.
The emigrants from Russia who founded it in 2022 openly advocate overthrowing the government in the Russian Federation, are against the special military operation, and raise money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Active members are former participants in protests in our country, as well as individuals engaged in anti-Russian propaganda and promoting the ideas of the LGBT community.
One of the association’s partners, the association “Civil Council” (activities thereof were recognized as undesirable in Russia on November 3, 2023), is engaged in recruiting and providing assistance to the “Freedom of Russia Legion” and “Siberian Battalion” participating in hostilities on the side of Ukraine (based on decisions of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, recognized as terrorist organizations).

The Portuguese organization has been recognized as undesirable in Russia
