Today in Moscow, as part of the formation of the activities of the Secretariat of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS Member States, held by the decision of the Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov, a meeting of heads of international units of prosecutor's offices of the said states was held.
The event was opened by Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Petr Gorodov, who noted that modern challenges require the unification of efforts and the creation of effective mechanisms for interaction. He emphasized the importance of legal cooperation to ensure security and stability.
All participants expressed their readiness for further cooperation, and noted the high importance of holding such events to deepen dialogue and joint work in order to maintain law and order in the CIS.
During the event, bilateral meetings of the Russian delegation with representatives of the Prosecutor General's Offices of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan were held, that were dedicated to key and current areas of international legal cooperation.
