Dear comrades, front-line soldiers and veterans. Dear colleagues, friends!
Today, in every corner of our vast Motherland, we honor the memory of the heroes who won and saved the world from fascism 80 years ago.
The great victory became possible thanks to the unparalleled courage, fortitude and selfless devotion of the Soviet people to the Motherland.
Our hearts will forever remain grateful for the immortal feat of the front-line soldiers and home front workers who, shoulder to shoulder, forged a single victory for all. And we will also preserve the grief over the millions of lost lives and crippled destinies.
No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten!
It is our duty to perpetuate historically significant events for all of humanity and to stop any attempts to distort the results of the Great Patriotic War, to prevent the hushing up of the atrocities of the German Nazis and their allies. We will not allow this plague to be reborn.
